How to use the Keysight IO Libraries to access the N1225A VME Axis Board
Keysight N1225A VME Axis boards with firmware versions B.37 and later (recommend using B.40 or later to bypass bugs in earlier versions and have access to binary commands, which can be ~15% faster) contain a text-based socket server interface for accessing the board’s VME registers through its LAN connection. This document contains instructions on how to use the Keysight IO Libraries’ Socket connection protocol to communicate with the N1225A board using the text-based commands and the details of these commands and their binary equivalents, which can be used with any socket connection from any operating system. Depending on your application, the socket interface can eliminate the need for a VME controller to setup and operate the N1225A board.
