Live example of Wireless Coexistence Test using Keysight

How-To Videos

Watch this demonstration of the interference between wireless protocols common on the 2.4 GHz ISM band. With so many devices on the air using incompatible radio protocols, interference is inevitable, but using Coexistence test you can evaluate the wireless performance of any product trying to operate in the presence of dissimilar radio signals. The video shows a Bluetooth device (MP3 player) playing music to a wireless speaker, and what happens when a Wi-Fi signal begins operation on the same 2.4 GHz radio band. Using Wireless Coexistence testing based on ANSI Standard C63.27, devices can be evaluated, performance measurements can be made (and evaluate effects of product changes), and recommendations can be generated for device placements and recommended operating environments. These tests are expected for wireless Healthcare devices seeking FDA approval, and are also recommended for any device using one of the many wireless protocols available today, including Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Thread, WiHart, etc. For more information please visit www.keysight.com/find/iot
