How to Verify CCS Communication Conformance For EVCC and SECC

Every charging process involves a complex communication protocol to negotiate charging parameters. Many inoperability issues between EVs and EVSEs are related to communication errors, resulting in charging failures. Hence, protocol conformance testing is a key prerequisite for developing interoperable EV charging equipment.
In this demonstration, we will show you how to verify communication performance using a communication interface tester.
Combined with software and pre-programmed charging test cases, we will perform a type approval test in which an emulated EVCC and SECC are validated against a complete set of conformance test case specifications. Either the emulated EVCC or EVCC could be replaced with a DUT.
