This demo shows how to analyze the beamforming performance of a massive MIMO radio unit using a PROPSIM F64 channel emulator, and how to recall and analyze 32-channel mMIMO IQ data with PathWave Vector Signal Analysis (VSA) software.
Keysight's PROPSIM S8800A and 89600 PathWave VSA software integrate to form a robust testing solution for analyzing multiport massive MIMO systems with up to 64 channels, facilitating precise evaluation of 5G NR signals. This solution simplifies the workflow with features like hardware simulation, streamlined IQ data recall, and customizable demodulation settings. Users gain valuable insights through 3D visualizations of resource elements, detailed signal metrics (e.g., EVM, power, frequency errors), and beam pattern analysis based on user-defined antenna configurations. These capabilities help optimize signal quality, validate antenna performance, and enhance overall system efficiency, making this test setup essential for advanced wireless testing.
