The automotive industry is growing faster, including the upgrading of ADAS/AD technology and the innovation of EE architecture. Now most architecture shifted from distributed system to centralized computing domain system or a zonal system, which aims to reduce the number of ECUs and cables. Multiple sensors can be interconnected, each transmitting raw, high-resolution data to the Zonal ECU. In this process, sensors may be consolidated into a single link to minimize cable weight and costs, which subsequently increases throughput demands. Such zonal architectures require high-speed communication links. However, simply increasing the speed presents significant technical challenges.
