On this page, you will find the latest software available for the E8719A radar target simulator. Keysight highly recommends staying up to date with the latest software versions available.

The E8719A improves over previous generations of radar target simulators (RTS) with full 5 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth. With exceptional gain flatness and better-simulated distance resolution, ready to address the needs of any radar sensor on the market from 76 to 81 GHz. E8719A can be equipped with a new over-the-air (OTA) calibration feature. This feature makes use of the Keysight U9361M receiver calibrator to accurately calibrate the OTA path between the RTS and radar under test.

  • Save the file (552 MB) to a folder on C drive of E8719A Radar Target Simulator.

如何安装

  1. Backup Settings.xml from install directory to complete step 5.
  2. Perform uninstallation for version 4.1.0.0 and earlier version.
  3. Download and run the installer to begin the installation. 
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation
  5. Replace Settings.xml in install directory with the backup Settings.xml from step 1.

Note: 

  1. Install directory: C:\Program Files\Keysight\RadarTargetSimulator
  2. You must be logged in to Windows with administrative privileges to install the software.
  3. You must accept the terms of the license agreement to continue installation.
  4. RTS.exe is expected in the install directory. Please contact Keysight for support if there are any errors encountered during installation 
  5. Backup Settings.xml from install directory before installation.
  6. Check version in RTS.exe, Help > About E8719A Radar Target Simulator.
