Increasing baud rates of RZ/NRZ, PAM, along with coherent optical transmitters and receivers, brings the need to measure their optical S-parameters to higher bandwidths. In this demonstration the Keysight N4372E lightwave component analyzer measures the frequency response of an optical Rx to an unprecedented frequency of 110 GHz. The Keysight N4372E is the only analyzer capable of making opto-electronic measurements of both transmitters and receivers up to a frequency of 110 GHz. It is a fully integrated, turnkey system with traceable specifications covering a wavelength range of 1260 nm to 1620 nm.
